Honorable Willem C. Vis participants,
The Law Faculty of Lomonosov Moscow State University cordially invites you to take part in the Second Moscow Pre-Moot for the 18th Willem C. Vis Moot Competition in Moscow. This event will be the first International Pre-Moot for Moscow State University and will take place 25th-27th of March, 2011.
Last year, in March, 2010, the Law Faculty at MSU held its first Pre-moot to the 17th annual Willem C. Vis International Commercial Arbitration Moot. We were joined by 5 teams from Russia’s top universities and 14 qualified arbitrators who presided over the rounds.
2nd Moscow Pre-Moot will give the teams an opportunity to participate in simulated arbitration hearings, to develop their skills in preparation for the main event in Vienna and meet with other competing teams.
The hearings will take place on March 25th and 26th at Moscow State University (Lomonosov) and will be followed by the finals on March 27th. Further information concerning the precise time of the rounds will be given to the teams individually.

In light of the aforementioned, we would like to inform prospective participants that the deadline for registration is March 1, 2011. If you are interested in our assistance with your team’s accommodation in the MSU dormitory and visa support, please contact the organizers before January 15th.
